Foster parent info sessions

If you have ever considered fostering, please join us at an upcoming information session to learn how you can help.

Foster families provide a stable, supportive, temporary home for children at a time when parents and caregivers are facing challenges and working to provide a safe home.

When placing a child in a foster home, we strive to find a cultural match, as that consistency helps to provide a positive transition during a difficult time. Families of all ethnic and religious backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Foster families are from all cultures and socio-economic backgrounds, and include all types of family composition (single or partnered, LGBT2SQ+, with or without children).

We will address topics such as: parents who work at home or outside of the home, families with pets, and family composition, as well as training, financial compensation and ongoing handprint of child and adult hands togethersupports.
