Foster parent info sessions

We have no information sessions currently scheduled, but if you have ever considered fostering, please contact us to learn more.

Foster families provide a stable, supportive, temporary home for children at a time when parents and caregivers are facing challenges and working to provide a safe home.

When placing a child in a foster home, we strive to find a cultural match, as that consistency helps to provide a positive transition during a difficult time. Families of all ethnic and religious backgrounds are encouraged to apply.handprint of child and adult hands together

Foster families are from all cultures and socio-economic backgrounds, and include all types of family composition (single or partnered, LGBT2SQ+, with or without children).

We will address topics such as: parents who work at home or outside of the home, families with pets, and family composition, as well as training, financial compensation and ongoing supports.
